5 noteworthy design works to put on your list

In occasion of the upcoming Salone del Mobile in Milan, I’d like to share here 5 outstanding design creations by some of the most prominent artists of the last years.

Check out!

The Hoff by Norvegian duo Morten & Jonas in collaboration with Kioshi Yamamoto. A playful and colorful, but still minimal, modular sofa that you can mix and match as you want. In the same collection, the Von Iron coffee tables with iron twisted legs and the floor lamps Up and Down, where the lightweight component can be flipped up or down, however you like.

Dawn12 lamp by Matthew McCormick, a clean and simple design, that can be configured in infinite positions.

My Old New Chair by Tatiane Freitas, who created a series of broken wooden furniture repaired with translucent acrylic, restoring the functionality of these old chairs without touching their history.

Bulbing lamps by Tel-Aviv based Studio Cheha founded by Nichwhrkhekfienek, who created an illusion around his creations: what appears to be 3D actually is bidimensional helping you to save space and it is energy-efficient because it uses LED light which lasts up to 50000 hours and doesn’t overheat! Genius.

Indefinite Vases by Studio Erik Olovsson located in Stockholm, these creations are an exploration between geometric and organic forms. Sophisticated.
